A Sofa for Three

What if love could make room for a third person?

The story

In the beginning, there was a couple. A certainty, rules, a place for everyone.

Then came an encounter, an imbalance, an almost invisible crack. Nothing spectacular. Nothing immediate. Only the slow shifting of certainties.

“A SOFA FOR THREE” tells the story of a man who believed he was steering his own life, and of two women who chose to redraw its centre. Without shouting or upheaval, they invent another way of loving, where power changes hands, where family no longer looks like what we expect of it, and where stability comes less from control than from acceptance.

An intimate and unsettling novel about losing one’s bearings, the transformation of desire, and what we discover about ourselves when we finally accept no longer being alone in the middle of the sofa.

Can you love two people without abandoning one? How do you share intimacy, plans, and daily life when a couple becomes a throuple? And what remains of freedom when jealousy starts to take hold?
